Bulk Edit SEO Metadata (Premium)

Meta Manager is a powerful module for managing meta titles and descriptions across your entire site from a single interface.

Open Meta Manager

  1. Go to Technical Auditor > Meta Manager
  2. Select content type (posts, pages, products, etc.)
  3. Use filters to find specific content

Edit Metadata

Single Edit

  1. Find the page you want to edit
  2. Click the Edit icon
  3. Modify the title and/or description
  4. Preview how it will appear in Google
  5. Click Save

Bulk Editing

  1. Select multiple pages using checkboxes
  2. Choose Bulk Actions > Edit Metadata
  3. Use variables for dynamic text:
    • %%title%% - Page title
    • %%sitename%% - Site name
    • %%sep%% - Separator
    • %%date%% - Publication date
    • %%category%% - Category
  4. Click Apply Changes

Find Issues

Meta Manager helps you find SEO issues:

  • Missing meta title - Pages without custom title
  • Missing meta description - Pages without description
  • Duplicate titles - Multiple pages with same title
  • Duplicate descriptions - Same description on multiple pages
  • Titles too long - Over 60 characters
  • Descriptions too long - Over 160 characters
  • Descriptions too short - Under 50 characters

Auto-generate Metadata

For pages missing metadata, you can auto-generate:

  1. Filter by "Missing description"
  2. Select the pages
  3. Choose Generate from content
  4. Meta Manager creates descriptions based on page content
  5. Review and adjust as needed

Import/Export

Export Metadata

  1. Filter the content you want to export
  2. Click Export CSV
  3. The file contains: URL, title, description

Import Metadata

  1. Prepare a CSV with columns: url, meta_title, meta_description
  2. Go to Meta Manager > Import
  3. Upload the CSV file
  4. Map columns
  5. Preview changes
  6. Click Import

Integration with SEO Plugins

Meta Manager works with:

  • Yoast SEO - Saves directly to Yoast meta fields
  • Rank Math - Integrates with Rank Math metadata
  • All in One SEO - Supports AIOSEO fields
  • SEOPress - Compatible with SEOPress

If no SEO plugin is installed, WordPress standard meta fields are used.

Tips

  • Start with pages that have the most traffic
  • Use unique descriptions for each page
  • Include keywords naturally in the title
  • Keep titles under 60 characters for best display
  • Write descriptions that encourage clicks (call-to-action)
